Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) Midlands Provincial spokesperson Inspector Emmanuel Mahoko confirmed the development to a local publication but did not divulge further information.

It is reported that in 2014 Ndlovu Presided over a mine dispute ruling in favour of one party. The losing party approached the high court and Minister, winning the case in the process.

Ndlovu did not uphold the court ruling leading to his arrest. The ZRP has also named the province’s Mines and Mining Development lawyer as a person of interest in the case.
