Zimbabwe Mining Week (ZMW) is the country’s leading platform for mining investment, beneficiation and industrial development, anchored in one of the most diverse mineral economies in Africa. Lithium, platinum group metals, chrome, gold, diamonds and coal all sit within a single jurisdiction, giving Zimbabwe a breadth of opportunity few mining nations can match.
Happening on the 17-19th November 2026 in Zimbabwe, the event brings government, operators, investors and processors into the same room, not to debate whether beneficiation should happen, but to build the capacity, partnerships and capital that make it happen.
The Zimbabwe Difference
Most mining events are built around a single commodity or a single unresolved challenge. Zimbabwe Mining Week is built around a different reality: a country that has already restricted the export of unprocessed lithium ore, already established the Zimbabwe Investment and Development Agency (ZIDA) as a one-stop investment facilitator, and already holds one of the world’s largest platinum group metal reserves through the Great Dyke.
Our purpose is to connect that head start with the capital, technology and partnerships needed to convert it into processing plants, refining capacity and jobs across lithium, PGMs, chrome, gold and beyond.
