BREAKING: ZMF amends constitution
The Zimbabwe Miners Federation (ZMF) has amended its constitution at a meeting held at Rainbow Towers (formerly Sheraton) attended by General Council and the Executive Members.
Below are some of the resolutions:-
Executive Membership: Tenure has been adjusted from 3 to 5 years concluding with the end of the annual General Council Meeting of The Federation. Upon the expiry of such period, such member shall automatically retire from office and shall be eligible for nomination and re-election as a member of the Executive provided that he retains his qualification.
Vice President: The Federation will now have a single Vice President.
Regional reps: Ammended to eight from the previous seven representatives.
PLWD: Amended to include the Secretary for the Disabled in The National Executive after complaints that the disabled felt segregated.
