The event, being held at the Country Club in Newlands under the theme “Network, Compete, Connect,” is expected to bring together mining executives, business partners and other stakeholders from across the mining value chain.

The engagement comes as Mutapa Gold targets annual gold production of more than 3,400 kilogrammes in 2026, following strong operational performance in the first half of the year.

Beyond the sporting component, the event provides an opportunity for Mutapa Gold to engage directly with industry players as it advances investment and development programmes across its mining portfolio.

The company has identified expansion and development opportunities at its Shamva, Freda Rebecca and Jena operations as part of efforts to increase production and strengthen its contribution to Zimbabwe’s gold sector.

The gathering also comes as Zimbabwe continues to pursue higher gold output, with large-scale producers expected to play a key role in increasing formal gold deliveries and supporting the country’s broader mining growth ambitions.

For Mutapa Gold, bringing industry stakeholders together provides an opportunity to strengthen commercial relationships, explore areas of cooperation and maintain dialogue across the mining value chain.

The event combines golf with an evening networking session, with discussions expected to centre on business relationships and opportunities within Zimbabwe’s mining industry.
